Budding Innovators in Our Makerspace Labs:
At Smart Start, our Makerspace labs encourage students as young as four-year-olds to immerse themselves in the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). This vibrant and engaging space has been created to enrich and interweave STEM learning across the curriculum.
Here, students are offered an environment where they can experiment, design, engineer, and build. They get hands-on exposure to an array of tools and resources like Lego robotics, building sets, design software, and digital video/photography equipment.
The Makerspace transcends the confines of the classroom to include the playgrounds, where we provide large blue blocks for the students. These allow them to bring the STEM skills and concepts they've learned to life, enabling them to build and engineer structures on a grand scale.
In crafting this dynamic and creative learning environment, Smart Start empowers its students to explore, innovate, and cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving and collaboration skills - critical attributes in the 21st-century landscape.
